I have an excellent role with one of the largest BMS controls company in the UK, after a they are looking to strengthen their North West's office's team. What am I looking for:
I am looking for a solid BMS Service Engineer who has a customer-focused attitude, a great aptitude for problem-solving and excellent communication skills who is competent with Trend, Tridium, Siemens or Schneider Eco-Struxture. You will be from a BMS background with sound HVAC plant knowledge, an understanding of HVAC control theory and electrical qualifications.
Territory:
This role will require you to cover the North West of England covering Manchester, Merseyside and up to Cumbria . You will be required to work on numerous sites in the area including, commercial buildings, schools, universities and a number large government buildings in the area. You will be home-based and fully mobile.
What the role requires
The role of BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer will require you to undertake the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis
- Pre-planned maintenance
- Reactive Breakdowns (no call out rota)
- Software modifications
- Graphic page modification and generation
- Pre-commissioning, Point to point testing
- Calibration of sensors and actuators
- Commissioning on upgrade projects up to £50K in value
What you can expect back:
- Basic salary £35k - £45k
- Travel time paid at a normal rate
- Overtime – averaging around £5 -£10k per annum
- X1.5 weekdays and X2 on Sundays
- Car allowance of £6500 pa or fully Expensed Company Car
